Neither man appeared before Wodonga magistrate William White when their case was called yesterday morning.
The police prosecutor told Mr White it was virtually unheard of for people on bail to not appear for a file hearing.
Mr White stood the matter down from the list until 2pm to give the pair extra time to appear.
But Jarrod Blanco and Benjamin Dinan again did not appear when their case was called about 2.15pm.
The prosecutor said he established during the lunch break that Dinan was in custody in NSW, while the informant in the case was at a loss as to why Blanco had not turned up.
Blanco and Dinan were arrested over an incident where a car was allegedly stolen from two men in Wahgunyah’s main street on the night of February 20.
The car, carrying four men, later crashed through a cyclone fence at O’Connors Farm Machinery in Corowa.
Mr White adjourned the two men’s cases to the Wodonga Court on a date to be fixed.
