Cameron O’Connor and his employees dressed up in their funniest attire to spread the laughter and raise money for children’s charity Clown Doctors.
The bank has been involved with the fundraiser for 16 years and branches throughout the region were aiming to collectively raise $5000.
Mr O’Connor said although customers were a bit confused at first, they were very generous with donations.
“You get a few questions, but it’s a bit of fun you can have while engaging customers to raise money for a good cause,” he said.
Clown Doctors visit hospitals throughout Australia spreading fun and laughter to kids.
People are being encouraged to upload their funny photos to Twitter or Instagram with #clowningforkids.
Commbank will donate $5 for every photo that is posted until April 2. The fundraiser comes in the lead up to Smile Day on April 1.
