Fletcher Carroll and Harrison Tanner (Albury), Trent McMullan (Wodonga), Ryan Garthwaite (Lavington), Josh Minogue (North Albury), Max Canfield (Yarrawonga), Bowen Smith (Nathalia) and Clayton Oliver (Mooroopna) will put on the jumper for the first time.
Following strong practice match form with wins over Bendigo and Geelong Falcons, the Bushrangers head into round full of confidence.
Coach Darren Ogier is pleased with the preparation.
“As a coaching group we have been pleased with the pre-season campaign,” Ogier said.
“Playing against four TAC CUP clubs has provided the players with a clear understanding of the level of football required.
“There is no doubt that round one will again see a lift in intensity.
“We are looking forward to seeing how the boys go in what should be a great game of football for the local Benalla community.”
The match starts at 2pm at Benalla Showgrounds with the under-16s kicking off at 12pm.
