Jessie Williams, of Clarendon Vale, put the baby rabbits to sleep outdoors on Thursday night.
When she returned to check on them on the morning of Good Friday, six were gone.
A further three had been taken on Saturday.
Only the mother rabbit remained.
"It's Easter time, they probably took them to sell quickly as Easter presents possibly to make a few dollars," she said.
"I couldn't think of a logical reason other than that."
Ms Williams made a plea for the safe return of the rabbits.
"The mother is very timid now, she's not wanting to be handled," she said.
"I would love to give them back to the mother so she can continue to feed them.
"Otherwise, people need to understand how young they are and give them some formula."
