About 500 people took part in the Albury Rainbow Run yesterday, turning their white attire into a mix of green, purple, red and pink.
The idea behind the event is simple; participants throw coloured flour at one another while jogging as music plays in the background.
While the number of attendees was halved from last year, organiser Anthony Marchesani was happy with the turnout.
“There’s a good, family fun atmosphere,” he said.
“The youngest attendee was four months old, the oldest was in their 80s.
“When you start with a white shirt and get smashed with colour, you end up looking pretty good.”
The event is based on the Holi festival in India, which is also known as the festival of colours.
Mr Marchesani said organisers wanted to engage schools and universities at next year’s event.
The Rainbow Run raised money for the Rotary Club of Albury Wodonga Sunrise.
