There have been complaints from two of the young men’s families about the conduct of police during the raids and Victoria’s Acting Chief Commissioner Tim Cartwright says one formal complaint about misconduct will be investigated.
However, Mr Cartwright says the weekend arrests were part of a high-risk operation into threats of violence linked to Anzac Day events in Victoria.
One of those arrested will go before the court today in what continues to be a sensitive but important matter.
