Catholic College Wodonga students Olivia Scholz and Molly Pryse and Bright P12 College students Jack Dalbrasco and Dimity Monshing have qualified for the Wodonga regional final on August 12.
The culinary challenge is an industry standard competition for secondary school students enrolled in a Vocational Education and Training hospitality package.
The Centre Community College workplace learning coordinator Angela Pesavento said the challenge involved 23 schools in the Wodonga, Wangaratta, Echuca, Shepparton and Swan Hill districts.
“It’s the third year the Wodonga region has participated and the ninth year of the challenge,” she said.
Farrah Reid and Andrea Burgio, Pinchos Catering, judge the Wodonga contest.
The grand final will be contested at Galen Catholic College in Wangaratta on September 14.
