The objects are part of Cargo – Art in Transit, a display arranged by Murray Arts to take artworks to small towns.
Murray Arts general manager Karen Gardner said her stand 565 show will have 50 pieces by nine artists from the Border.
"What's at the heart of this is getting out of the traditional gallery environment and engaging with new people," Ms Gardner said.
"There would be a certain amount of people who would not walk through the doors of an art gallery, what this is doing is coming to them and they can feel as though they can look at in a comfortable environment."
Postcards which can be brought to life through an app will feature alongside more traditional art forms.
The display will also be at libraries at Henty (September 25-30), Culcairn (October 1-6), Holbrook (October 7-14), Mullengandra hall (October 20) and Savernake School of Arts (November 4).
