Dartmouth: trout down around the 15 metre mark in most cases, the odd one trolled flatlining early. King Cobras in anything green are going well. Yabbies still on the chew.
Streams: fishing pretty well. Bait fishos doing well on crickets. Plenty of insect activity to keep fly fishos happy. The Mitta River continues to drop and is improving all the time.
Lake Hume: producing some nice yellas and the odd decent Murray cod. Most cod have been trolled or spun from rocky headlands, while a few yellas are being caught on bait. Those black grubs are still accounting for the bulk of the yellas.
Murray River: going really well for cod and the occasional yella or two. Bait fishos seem to be getting really good numbers but only the odd keeper. Some quality fish still coming in though.
Mulwala: fishing well. Lots of fishos have been hitting it at night with surface lures, with mixed stories. Still quite a bit of success through the day on spinnerbaits and hardbodies in the shallows.
