For 14 years it was known as North Gate Church.
But on Sunday, February 14, a change of name was announced to the congregation and community that it is now known as Gateway Life Church.
Senior Pastor Jason Mannering said the church believed it was a name that was not only symbolic, but a greater reflection of a great community and region.
"Most of what we do at Gateway Life Church is very relational and practical as we believe that spirituality and practicality go hand in hand," he said.
"Gateway is committed to all the foundational doctrines and values of the Bible and the Christian Church while being very relational, relevant and contemporary in our style.
"Gateway Life Church has an inspiring Kids, Youth and Young Adults ministry and is a church for all generations where people of all positions and backgrounds find acceptance, belonging and a reason for being."
