Albury recruit Dom Brew kicked three goals in a best-on-ground performance for the Hoppers.
North Albury trailed by 21 points after Myrtleford slammed on the first four goals of the second half but the Hoppers were able to gain the ascendancy through Ricky Whitehead (five goals), Rory Feltwell and Brew.
Ben Fulford played a key role in the win for the Hoppers, laying a huge tackle on star Saints Hugh Wales before sealing victory with the final goal of the match.
Mitch Dalbosco and Matt Dussin were the Saints’ best.
