After naming eight first-gamers against North Albury in round one, the Roos are continuing their investment in youth against the Pigeons.
Kuschert and Wilson’s debut will come on the same weekend Harrison Payne plays his first game for the Northern Blues and Jy Lane makes his maiden appearance for the Murray Bushrangers.
Coach Terry Burgess said with Hayden Filliponi, James Svarc and Jay O’Donoghue named in the preliminary interleague squad, excitement was high in the Roos’ camp despite their winless start to the season.
“That’s what the club has been set up for, to provide a pathway for district league players to come and be involved in a higher level of footy,” he said.

“We’re doing a fair bit right, it’s about trying to continue to improve every time we go out and play a game together.”
