Despite being sidelined since dislocating a knee cap injury playing for Riverina at Dubbo on May 28, the tough forward expects to return to the playing arena in a fortnight.
“I’m almost right to go now,” Cowhan said.
“I’ll be right for our next game after the byes.”
Cowhan will be joined in the Country Bulls side by fellow Group 9 stars Jack Lyons, Nathan Rose, Kyle McCarthy and Hayden Jeans (Southcity), Robbie Byatt (Tumbarumba), Daniel Foley (Junee) and Aaron Slater (Young).
“It’s going to be awesome,” Cowhan said.
“Last year it was just Jack Lyons and myself so to have eight Riverina players in the side is great.”
The match will be a curtain-raiser to the Manly and New Zealand Warriors clash.
