Dartmouth: was pretty wet last weekend and there weren’t too many brave souls that camped on the lake. There were a few though from the Albury angling club who braved the elements and were rewarded with a few nice trout.

A few were picked up using gudgeons, a few on plastics, a few flat lining and some down a little deeper. Not sure what that tells you, maybe just that if you’ve got a line in you’ve got a chance!
Lake Hume: okay for some with a few solid trout. Most fishos are flat lining but there’s a few that are having success using lead line. King Cobras seem to be the most popular of the cobra style lures and have a good range of Yellow Winged colours.
Murray River: above Lake Hume has been up and down due to rainfall and releases with the occasional cod still coming in. Below Lake Hume the releases have been steady at a very low 600-meg, making it tough unless you’ve got a small tinnie.
Craying has been fantastic but the fishing a little tougher. Those that are doing the hard yards are pulling a few cod and yellas off snags that normally wouldn’t get a look at both on lure and bait.
Blowering: is pretty quiet, only the occasional report of an odd cod or yella at the moment with the reddies non-existent.
Eucumbene: is still the pick of the snowy lakes with some very nice trout being trolled, particularly in the portal area although we have heard of a couple of nice fish out of Khancoban too.
