A group of five burglars entered Storage King on Victoria Cross Parade, Wodonga about 4.10am.
Manager, Mike, said he was on site within 15 minutes alongside police, but the offenders had already left.
“All the customers concerned have been contact and we've done everything we can,” he said.
“Our first priority is our customers, that's it – we are here for them.
“Every unit is alarmed with video footage and pin code access.
“We are doing every we can to allay police, customers and the community.”
Police asked people to be wary of cheap snow gear such as snow boards, skis and ski poles and Giant branded mountain bikes for sale.
Detective acting Sergeant Justin Foots said the items were loaded into two stolen vehicles within seven minutes.
“It is concerning to us, it looks like they were quite well prepared having stolen two cars and with five people involved,” he said.
The offenders cut the locks on 15 consecutive units.
A 2000 white Ford Utility and a 1997 silver Kia Mentor were used during the burglary.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Wodonga police on (02) 6049 2600.
