Families and children visited the central Wodonga space to donate some money and grab a sausage from the barbecue, cooked by the Rotary Club of Albury.
Shania's mother, Kylie, said she had spoken to her daughter about how the money helped sick children on the Border.
“It's a great cause and we thought we would come down, have a good time and donate,” she said.
“I'm so fortunate to have healthy children and I have explained to Shania how this money helps.”
A target of $25,000 was set for the Wodonga event. Large donations came in throughout the day including $4000 from the Rotary Club of Albury West, $3000 from Flair Cabinets and $600 from the CFA.
The two-day event was run by 105.7 The River to raise $25,000 in 25 hours for the paediatric ward at Albury-Wodonga Health.
