Lake Hume: starting to pick up a few yellas and reddies from the bank. Worms and yabbies are doing the job. Murray arm seems to be the pick.
Dartmouth Dam: despite the cold weather there’s still some brave fishos giving it a shot and doing okay. Flatlining King Cobras, Tassies and Rapala minnows seems to be doing the job but if things slow down, a fender or cowbell in front should spark things up a bit. There’s quite a few still having success on downriggers too.
Murray River: below Albury is pretty low but still producing good numbers of crays and the odd cod and yella. Above Lake Hume the river is running pretty hard and would be pretty tough going I reckon.
Murrumbidgee: is also pretty high and dirty but just starting to show signs of clearing.
Blowering: is only just. Apparently there was a metre cod trolled early Saturday morning and there are rumours of some nice rainbow trout being caught up the top end near Jounama.
Eucumbene/Jindabyne: have been pretty patchy but there have been a couple of belters out of both lakes. No great numbers though.
Mulwala: Pretty quiet, but the odd decent fish.
