After turning in some strong performances at the national championships, Carroll has been rewarded with a match at Coorparoo.
“Fletch has had a great opportunity throughout the year playing in the national carnival and the NEAFL experience will provide another sample of an elite football environment,” talent manager Lee Fraser said.
“This will give him a great platform for the rest of the season as the TAC Cup continues to heat up with some of the best young talent in the country on the field.”
With the Murray Bushrangers having the bye this weekend, a number of Ovens and Murray players will return to club football.
In-form Albury forward Lachie Tiziani and North Albury trio Doulton Langlands, Ben Paton and Alex Paech are set to play against each other at Albury Sportsground on Saturday.
“While a number of players will head back to their local clubs a few others are being managed due to their workloads over recent weeks,” Fraser said.
The Murray Bushrangers take on Western Jets at Wangaratta’s Norm Minns Oval next weekend.
