The man had been using the bike at his Price Hill Lane property on Sunday.
He had tried to get off the bike about 12.25pm but hit the accelerator and slipped, causing the machine the roll over his leg.
The man, aged in his 50s, may have been crushed into a fence by the all terrain vehicle.
He made it back to his home and called Triple-0 before collapsing.
Police and paramedics attended the scene.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesman said the man had been transported to Albury hospital in a stable condition with leg and back injuries.
The injuries are not life threatening.
