Officers from both sides of the Border, including specialist NSW tactical police, executed a search warrant at a Waugh Road home on Thursday.
Armed police entered the home about 6.30am and searched through the property over several hours.
Items including power tools were also removed from the house.
At the time of the break-in, which had involved five offenders, police said the haul had been worth more than $20,000.
The group had covered their heads and loaded the stolen goods into two stolen vehicles within seven minutes.
Albury acting Superintendent Evan Quarmby said a 19-year-old man had been taken into custody.
The man also had a warrant out for his arrest.
He was interviewed by Wodonga officers at the Albury police station before being questioned by Albury police.
“Police uncovered a large quantity of stolen property and other items which are currently the subject of investigations,” acting Superintendent Quarmby said.
“The successful recovery was as a result of outstanding work by NSW and Victorian police working in partnership.
“We have an excellent working relationship.”
A nearby resident who witnessed the raid said it had come as a shock.
“There was all this commotion out the front, it got me out of the bedroom,” she said.
“I just hoped the kids were OK because they've got children there, they're always playing out the front ... I think it's a family of four.
“They're really nice people, friendly.”
A Tallandoon property was also searched in an unrelated raid on Thursday.
Police from Tallangatta, Mitta, Wodonga, the dog squad and the SES raided the home searching for guns and items stolen from a Tangambalanga business and in an Albury burglary.
A 55-year-old woman and 49-year-old man have been charged with firearms and property offences.
They will appear before court on August 16.
