The annual affair is organised by the Border Cystic Fibrosis group to help people in the region affected by the condition.
It is the major fundraiser which helps keep the support network running in Albury-Wodonga.
Border CF member Helen Aylward said the group had been a big help for families for the past 25 years.
“We assist with accommodation when they have to go to Melbourne if their child is in hospital,” she said.
“If they need to purchase new equipment, like a nebuliser pump or PET mask – even though they are made of plastic they are quite expensive.”
The silver-themed party will be held in the Stanley room at the Commercial Club in Albury from 7pm.
Silent and live auctions will run during the night as guests enjoy drinks, a photo booth and finger food.
Mrs Aylward said she hoped about $6000 would be raised.
“The ones who are heavily involved, it means a lot for them,” she said.
“We put a lot of time into it, it’s quite rewarding at the end of the night.
“We just like to see everyone come have a good time.”
In a first for the event, Phil de Silver, the human statue, will busk and donate the proceeds to Border CF.
Mrs Aylward said she hoped it might help raise some extra cash.
“He has performed at the Applause Festival in Albury and has also busked at Circular Quay and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival,” she said.
“He has come out of retirement and is donating his time to perform.”
The character is played by Boree Creek's Phil Baker, who said he was keen to get back in costume after 12 months off.
“I won a trip to America with it and have done the main festivals in Parkes, Tamworth and the Rutherglen Winery Walkabout,” he said.
“I used to do a bit of busking, but we bought a pub so I just haven’t had the chance to get out.
“Helen asked us to give a hand and I thought why not. I don’t mind helping out people who need it.
“It will be just the one-off performance for the time being.”
