Kate Davenport, Brett Sanderson and Monica Jones all began their study careers at La Trobe University as mature-aged students.
The questions that come with entering university later in life will be answered pointedly at the new-and-improved information session at the Albury-Wodonga campus.
Head of campus Guinever Threlkeld said the first evening event would be held on Monday.
“Students come to study along very different paths and from prior education experiences,” she said.
“We’re trying to run it this time a bit differently with more emphasis on individually-relevant information.”
For Mr Sanderson, his apprehension about beginning a bachelor of human services didn’t last long.
“If there wasn’t a university locally I probably won’t have gone,” he said.
“There is so much support available … it’s great to be mixing with young people too.”
The evening event will run from 5.30pm to 9pm.
