SILVAN father Mark Tromp has apologised “without reservation” for the hurt and concern caused by his bizarre disappearance.

The story of the Tromp family has captured peoples’ attention nation-wide.
The 51-year-old’s statement comes three days after he was found wondering along the side of Greta Road, Wangaratta Airport, about 5.50pm Saturday evening.
"I am conscious of the burden these events have place upon our extended family, friends and the community resources devoted to our aid,” he said in a statement on Tuesday.
"Without reservation, I apologise for the hurt and concern caused by these events.”
Paranoia, that someone was trying to steal their money, was believed to have built up to a point where he fled the family farm with his wife, Jacoba and children Riana, 29, Mitch, 25, and Ella, 22.
One-by-one, during the technology-free holiday spanning Victoria and NSW, each family member became separated.
Mr Tromp had not been spotted in three days before Saturday, since he abandoned Ella's silver Peugeot and ran into Merriwa Park on Wednesday.
His statement indicated confusion still remained for himself and the family.
"We will soon be reunited and together, I hope that we will begin to make sense of our ordeal and return to normal life,” he said in the statement.
"On behalf of our family, I express deep gratitude to Victoria and New South Wales police, as well as the health care professionals who have looked after our physical and mental well-being.
"More than anything, my family and I need time to recover and receive appropriate assistance, including mental health services. To this end, we request that media organisations respect our request for privacy."
