Lauren Jessie Ohlsen, 30, has been charged with murder over the death of Mr Dickinson, 48, at his Hibiscus Crescent home in the early hours of September 1.
The matter was mentioned very briefly in Albury Court on Monday.
Ohlsen’s defence solicitor Tim Hemsley told the magistrate Michael Crompton that his client was in custody but did not need to be brought into the court room.
He successfully sought the adjournment of the case to October 24 in the same court.
Mr Hemsley indicated that Ohlsen, who will remain in custody, was expected to appear via videolink on that day.
Mr Dickinson was found stabbed to death in his home and Ohlsen was arrested at the scene and later charged with his murder.
The court was told at the first mention of her case that Ohlsen had been a patient at Albury’s Nolan House mental health treatment centre.
