SparkUp will promote emerging laneway cultures and recognise the city's 100th year of electricity. Art-covered vinyl, designed by Nat Ward, was added to Albury's first substation, in Volt Lane.
“It's the wetlands and ecosystem around Albury ... from an oil painting in my exhibition,” she said.
“I think it's amazing.”
Traders in Volt and AMP lanes will be open until 9pm for the event. The Perfect Shave owner Lisa Wilson said they would do some hair art on the night.
“The lane never used to be special but there is so much down here now, we've got to change the way people think,” she said.
