A MAN has been taken to hospital after a single vehicle car crash near the Hume Dam.
The driver, aged in his early 20s, was travelling west on the Riverina Highway on Thursday.
His Toyota Yaris left the road about 1.30pm and skidded through grass before hitting a tree.
The incident occurred about 10 kilometres from Albury CBD and the man injured his hip and head.
A NSW Ambulance spokesman said there were unconfirmed reports the man had been trapped.
