East Albury woman Kathy Rupp launched her import business Kathryn Collection at a popup shop in Townsend Street, Albury, on Friday night.
Ms Rupp and her French husband Jean-Francois Rupp bought more than 400 pieces after travelling around Annecy and Brittany during July.
She said they imported a 20-foot container of items they found at garage sales, warehouses and antique fairs.
“The style is French vintage, pre-loved and slightly industrial,” Ms Rupp said.
“I’m attracted to colour, a unique touch on something interesting, an intriguing shape.”
Ms Rupp will also attend the QEII Twilight Markets in October and November.
The popup shop at 419 Townsend Street, the former Saddleworld building, will open until Christmas Wednesday-Friday 2pm-5.30pm, Saturday 9am-3pm or by appointment.
