Michael Matic, 31, was visiting his uncle on September 28 when police caught him at 128km/h on Great Alpine Road at Gapsted.
They allegedly found 17g of methamphetamine and 250g of cannabis, along with ecstasy and speed.
A knife and $600 were hidden in a compartment under the handbrake, $5400 under the bonnet and two firearms under a panel on the tailgate.
Matic appeared in Wodonga Magistrates’ Court on Monday and was released on bail with a $10,000 surety.
He will be banned from entering Myrtleford again while on bail when he leaves the town to return home to Melbourne on Wednesday.
Barrister Sally Wilson said the alleged drugs were being sent away for analysis.
The case was adjourned until November.
