Vincent Stanford, 25, has pleaded guilty to murdering Miss Scott on April 5 last year – Easter Sunday and six days before her planned wedding.
Supreme Court judge, Justice Robert Hulme, will hear sentencing submissions by a Crown Prosecutor and Stanford’s barrister.
It is expected the submissions will take most of the day.
Stanford sexually assaulted Miss Scott before stabbing her to death at the school after she went there to prepare lesson plans for another teacher who was to fill in for Miss Scott while she was on her honeymoon.
Stanford dumped and burnt Miss Scott’s body in the Cocoparra National Park.
Marcus Stanford, who helped his twin brother conceal the murder, was sentenced to 15 months' jail after pleading guilty to an accessory to murder charge but was released on September 8 because of time already spent in custody.
