He joined Terry Burgess and Kevin Smith as triple winners after polling 158 votes.
Murray, who previously saluted in 2013 and 2015, finished clear of Christian Burgess (126), Matt Dussin (95), Fraser Lucas (64), Mitch Dalbosco (44) and Lachie Dale (44)
“I was a bit lucky,” Murray said.
“Christian had a great year and it would have been good to see him win as well.
“He’s improving all the time.”
Dale was named the best under-21 player, Tom McDonagh took out best first year player and Dylan Piazza won most improved.
Murray stepped down as co-coach at the end of this season to concentrate on playing next year.
He has previously won best and fairests at West Perth (2004), Port Adelaide (2009), Echuca (2011) and Blackburn (2012).
The decorated centreman also won the Ovens and Murray league's Morris Medal in 2005.
Leigh Corcoran will coach Myrtleford in a non-playing capacity next season while officials are on the look-out for a playing coach.
The Saints’ recruiting is once again focused on luring home-grown talent back to the club.
Anthony La Spina won Myrtleford’s reserve grade best and fairest and Ryan Crisp took out the third grade.
Crisp played two senior matches during the home and away season.
Bridget Flint-Chapman took out Myrtleford’s A grade netball top honour after another stellar season.
Greg Matthews, Paul Tanner and Jennifer Leita were awarded life memberships.
