Brown was glowing in his praise of the Scottish international.
“He is one of the quickest I have faced,” Brown said.
Of the recent players, I rate Chris up there with James Weighell, in terms of pace.

“He just jogs in, so all the pace is in his bowling action, he gets a lot of bounce.

If Sole proves anything like Tallangatta’s English import, Albury is on a winner.
The club played a practice T20 game against East Albury at Alexandra Park on Saturday, edging home in the final over.
Crows’ opener Kris Milosta batted superbly as the home team posted 130.
Sole’s brother Tom took two wickets, but Chris’s pace was the game’s talking point.
Alex Popko then hammered 65 in a typically aggressive knock, while Liam Hocking chipped in with 45.
“Liam is only 17 and batted really well at number four,” Brown said.
The second-year captain says it is the strongest Albury team he has seen.
“I would be disappointed if we did not make finals,” he said.
The season starts Saturday.
