It was the first time Ms Oliver, who was born and raised on the Border but now lives in Port Macquarie, had visited Wodonga since Raleigh, 15 months, was born.
“Mum (Sue Corbett) lives in Gisborne, Nan (Ruth Corbett) and I are here in Wodonga and Ashli is in Port Macquarie so it has now been over five years since we’ve all been in the same place at the same time,” Ashli’s father Brett Oliver said on Sunday.
“For us it’s a real special occasion to have everyone all together.”
“The weekend’s been good and because Ashli turns 21 in January we had an early 21st for her last night for all the family who live down here.”
