Corey Marjanovic, Oscar Roberts, Bella Pasquali and Ashleigh Carty secured double gold at the Little Athletics Victoria State Relay Championships at Lakeside Stadium, Albert Park.
A tight win came in the under 10s mixed 4x100m relay, before they backed it up with victory in the under 10s mixed 4x200m event.
The quartet posted a time of 1:00.09 to win by three tenths of a second in the 4x100m, while their time of 2:07.94 was more than three seconds faster than the next best in the 4x200m.
Overall, 46 athletes represented the club and returned with five medals, one more than last year’s meet.
Bella and Ashleigh were joined by Sophia Pasquali and Hannah Gillies and won a bronze medal in the under nine to 11s girls 800m medley.
Wangaratta Little Athletics Club also won two silver medals in both the under 11s mixed 4x200m event, as well as the under nines mixed 4x200m relay.
At their very first state event, Holly McCarthy, Callum Bott, Jack McDonald and Sophia Pasquali never gave in as they won silver in the under nines mixed 4x200m relay.
Meanwhile, the under 11s mixed 4x200m team of Joshua Sgarioto, Demi Johns, Hannah Gillies and Sam Comensoli improved on last year's bronze medal to also claim silver.
Of the 24 teams that represented Wangaratta, 15 are in the top ten in Victoria.
