Summer rain prompts North-East flood watch

The Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting the possibility of up to 50 millimetres of rain on Thursday and Friday, while Vic Emergency has warned that falls of up to 100mm may occur in some areas.
Farmers are being advised to consider moving livestock and machinery to higher ground, and drivers are being reminded not to drive through flood waters.
The warning will be updated on Thursday afternoon.
