A NSW police spokeswoman said the incident occurred in Albury about 10.45am on Saturday.
“A 27-year-old woman attended a massage parlour in a shopping plaza on Kiewa Street,” she said.
“The woman was receiving a massage from a 45-year-old man, when he allegedly indecently assaulted her.
“She left the store and reported the incident to police.”
The spokeswoman said plain-clothed detectives entered the store about 4pm later that day and arrested the 45-year-old man without incident.
“He was taken to Albury police station and charged with assault with act of indecency,” she said.
The masseur was granted bail to appear at Albury Local Court on Tuesday, January 17.
A spokeswoman for the plaza said staff were assisting police in relation to an alleged incident.
