A party was being held at Dick Road on Saturday night and residents at Rowen Court became annoyed by loud music.
Issues grew between 12.30am and 2.30am on Sunday.
Words were exchanged and a man from Rowen Court smashed a partygoer in Dick Road with what's believed to be a baseball bat.
A group of eight to 10 revellers retaliated by throwing items at homes in the court, before putting clothes around their faces and attacking the other group.
A man was smashed with a steel letterbox, shattering his elbow, and had his nose broken by a can of alcohol.
His elbow and hand were also cut.
Police are investigating and are working to identify those involved.
