A total of 50 Wodonga athletes contested a competition night at Albury’s Alexandra Park.
The program had sprint distances, jumps, throws and long distance races, as well as the steeplechase.
Sprinter Ben Hugal impressed on the night, along with distance runner Alex Race-Stelling, while steeplechasers Siobhan Wilson, Ryan Blackwell, Sarah Egan and Cal Race-Stelling and thrower Clare McCormack all performed well.
Round one of the Wodonga club’s 5km handicap series was also staged on Thursday night and produced some strong times.
Harry Brown passed the line first in 36.09, which was adjusted to 27.09, while Karen Hill and Des Rees rounded out the top three.
The fastest male was Mickey Columbera with an adjusted time of 19.23, while Alex Freire’s 21.54 was the quickest female time.
