The free March 3 performance will be the twin brothers’ first live show since returning from a working holiday in Thailand.
It also will be the first of five Australian stops for Jack and Pat before they head to Hamburg, where they will kick off a major European tour on June 5.
The boys will headline in Germany, Belgium and the UK before heading to North America in September.
There they will join Triple J Hottest 100 star Tash Sultana as the support act on tour and are set to perform at least 18 dates during the month.
It is not the first time the two have teamed with Sultana.
Last May she was support act on the brothers’ Australian Winter is Coming tour.
“They have been friends for years and supported each other,” manager Regan Lethbridge says.
This will not be the first tour for the boys, they spent most of 2015 touring the world and played at more than 50 major festival and headline dates across 15 countries.
While travelling Asia, the boys have been keeping busy, teasing at their new album on social media.
Independently, the Pierce Brothers have sold more than 50,000 EPs, with their most recent EP Into The Dirt reaching the top 10 in the ARIA charts.
The Pierce Brothers career began in local pubs performing covers and then continued as they took their talent to the streets of Melbourne CBD busking.
The pair’s unique sound is owed to the use of a diverse range of instruments.
Some of their most popular tracks feature samples of the didgeridoo, harmonica and guitar.
The AU Review described their music as “diverse musicality that allow listeners to sink into wistful ballads, only to resurface amidst a whirlwind of knee slapping and foot tapping festivity.”
“The boys are feeling incredibly excited about the tour,” Lethbridge said.
You can also catch them in Frankston, Melbourne CBD, Sydney and Woombye at the Big Pineapple Festival.
Jack and Pat will be on tour for more than five months, with no Australian dates following the Big Pineapple Festival on May 27.
Friday’s On My Mind is a monthly event set up by Wodonga council.
The community event runs between November and March, featuring a number of music artists and entertainers.
