The combination accounted for North Albury’s Norm Honey and Eddie Simmons, 19-16, in a see-sawing battle at Culcairn.
Forck and Kern won through to the final with a three-shot victory against fellow Henty teammate Glen Harrison, while Honey comfortably accounted for Lavington’s Vic Moore, 21-9.
Jarry Kerr and John Danaher took out the president’s reserve event at Oaklands, 26-20, against Ron Bonat and Pat Preedy.
The Lavington pairing of Allan Pantling and Fred Markham triumphed in the senior pairs at Rand, edging out Brian Linehan and Les Waldron, 26-20.
The draw has also been finalised for the district singles events across the region, with the opening rounds to be played on Sunday.
North Albury will host the open singles, the senior singles will be played at Holbrook, while Walla will stage the president’s reserve singles.
The finals of the three events are scheduled for Sunday, March 12.
