Yesterday residents of Captain Cook Drive and Hicks Place, near where a house was attacked by a group of seven men on Tuesday, said they have no choice but to leave.
The neighbours said it was the second night of violence this week.
On Monday night one of the neighbours said he spent four hours in emergency at Albury Base Hospital after being bashed by the same gang in the street.
On Tuesday windows were smashed on a home as part of a feud between two families.
Just hours after police departed the victims say the gang returned, breaking another window and wanting to fight.
The battle has raged for 18 months, an apprehended violence order issued last October demanding the next door neighbours not go within 50m of each other.
Bill Yost said he and his wife Louise feared for their lives every day.
“They know they will only get a slap on the wrist,” he said.
“We are looking to move to the country, we can’t take it any longer.”
The Yosts and their son Brad and his fiancee Kristen Assi were trapped inside their home as the gang of seven men smashed their windows with garden stakes and bottles.
Nearby neighbour Laura Ward plans to move for the sake of her daughter, 15 months.
“It is just not safe here anymore,” she said.
“I took my daughter to my mum’s place on Tuesday night because of the trouble.
“They smashed (her partner) John’s car window as he drove home, what would have happened if my girl had been in the back.”
Yesterday Albury police Insp John Peirce said they expected to pick up the alleged culprits in the coming days as investigations continued.
“We know who we are looking for, they are known to police, we will just have to round them up,” he said.
