Bruce Gibbens lost his wife Dianne to an aggressive form of melanoma on December 31.
She was one of the first people to be treated at the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre.
Mr Gibbens raffled off a quilt crafted by his late wife at the Chiltern Cancer Cruise on Sunday.
“I achieved my goal of raising just over $10,000,” he said.
“That money will go to the purchase life saving cancer equipment, professional development programs, training and cancer research at the cancer centre.”
Mr Gibbens said 218 cars and bikes had entered.
The winning raffle ticket was purchased by a boy who gave the quilt to his mother.
