Campaign to stop closing hotel doors on guide dogs
I am pretty sure that we had Daniel and Frodo in for a birthday recently at the Albion Hotel and was a great pleasure to accommodate for Frodo. I know he wanted to bust out some moves but kept his composure most of the night. Definitely welcomed back. No problems at all and a great night by everyone. Johnno Skele
I believe anyone preventing or refusing service to an appropriately certified dog would be breaking the law. Owners carry ID cards for the dog on them and the harness for the dog had a logo embossed on it on the ones I've seen. Edward-Keg Paroz
I cannot believe in this day and age that there is still discrimination against assistance/guide dogs. But I guess there are still those people that think they are above the law. Lisa Klein

It is illegal to deny entry too or services to a person a guide or assistance dog.

Hopefully the community will realise that this is not the developers, it is council not getting it right. And the aftermath or mess should be council's responsibility and of no additional cost to the developer. Sue Wileman
