The BACoE controlled the game from the outset, claiming a dominant 80-49 victory.
Despite valiant efforts from import Toccara Ross (16 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists) and Emma Mahady (12 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists), the Lady Bandits simply couldn’t keep up.
Highly-touted national prospect Maddison Rocci led the way for the hosts with 15 points, five board and fours assists.
Zitina Aokuso (20 points) also proved troublesome for the Lady Bandits, while Samantha Simons dropped 11 points from the bench.
The Lady Bandits will have to regroup before a massive home game against perennial contenders Dandenong next Saturday.
Taking care of the ball will be of the utmost importance for the Lady Bandits after turning it over 26 times against the BACoE.
