Details have just emerged of the massive bust, which occurred last Thursday afternoon in the town’s main street. Upon searching the car, police found a small amount of marijuana but a more thorough search uncovered 35kg of the drug inside two suitcases in the car’s trailer.
The driver of the vehicle, a 52-year-old South Australian man, was charged with a number of drug supply offences.
