The 2015 Toyota HiLux, which has yellow and black Dunstans Construction Group logos on the side, was taken about 2am on Friday.
Someone entered the Peepbo Street home through an unlocked front door and took keys from the kitchen.
One of the four people inside the home heard the vehicle start up and drive away, but thought one of his housemates had borrowed it.
The dual cab utility has not been seen since.
Detective Senior Constable Luke Hawking said the incident could be linked to the theft of Makita power tools from a nearby utility about the same time.
The tools, batteries with green spray paint and a CB radio were taken from the vehicle.
Detective Senior Constable Hawking said those inside the home had been left shaken by the burglary.
“There were four people inside the home,” he said.
“None were hurt.”
The utility has a tray body, front and back roll bars and number plates 1DE4LV.
He urges anyone with information to call (03) 5723 0888 or 1800 333 000.
