Margaret Lynch, of Table Top branch, received a first for her article from natural fibres and two seconds for a jumper and a rug.
Eleven delegates and two observers from Albury, Albury Evening, Gerogery, Jindera, Oaklands and Glen-Mannus (Tumbarumba) branches attended the five-day conference.
The Murray group entry of eight items in the handicraft section came equal fourth, only two points behind third.
Four Tumbarumba children also received prizes – Sophie Barclay (second, poster 9-12 years), Eliza Gollan (third, junior short story 13-18 years), Miriam Taylor (third, junior short story 8 years and under) and Brinley Wilesmith (highly commended, poster 9-12 years).
