The pair got engaged three-months ago after meeting years ago at Mitchell Secondary College in Wodonga.
They said it wasn’t until they left the confines of school they actually found each other.
“It’s one of those things you wouldn’t think would happen,” said Mr Hawkins.
Miss Cook said she wanted a rustic, casual wedding in next March or April.
“It’s been good it’s thrown all my ideas out the window but given me new ones,” she said.
Organiser Bradley Hayden said the day was very busy, with brides seeking inspiration at the one-stop shop.
He said lucky couple Kristyn Luty and Brad Hibberson left the event with a free honeymoon to the Gold Coast.
Tracey Basham of Enhance Styling and Events said the fair was an important networking event for businesses.
