After concentrating on playing last season, Jackson has taken over from Dan Dixon with the Bulldogs also in the mix to secure another coach.
“The batteries are recharged,” Jackson said.
“I’m not good at many things, but coaching cricket and coaching Wodonga are two things I think I go alright at.
“I’m going to get back into it and do it again.”
Jackson, who has played in four provincial flags at Wodonga, confirmed Englishman Andrew Weighell would be returning to Les Cheesley Oval.
Beau Kennedy is also back at the Bulldogs.
Jackson was keeping his cards close to his chest in regards to other recruits.
“We have a few things in the wings but nothing is secure yet,” he said.
“I’m a bit out of the loop until July comes around.
“I just disappear.”
