SERIOUS DAMAGE: Firefighters responded when four garbage trucks at JJ Richards were destroyed by fire in an early morning incident in March.

The man arrested over setting four trucks on fire at JJ Richards has pleaded guilty in court, but only to the arson of two of the damaged vehicles.

Former Wodonga man Gavin Hach, 32, appeared in Wodonga Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.

Barrister Stephanie Wallace said Hach would plead guilty to criminal damage by fire of two garbage trucks, reducing his culpability over the value lost to the company down from the original $1.5 million to $750,000.
