It’s the first of three ‘easier’ games in the final five rounds.
Rovers have only two wins, with Corowa-Rutherglen and North Albury to follow in round 16 and 17 respectively.
However, before facing that duo, Wodonga has a season-defining match against Wangaratta on July 29.
The Bulldogs have the bye the following week, so they’ll be primed for a monumental effort against another finals contender in the Pies.
As tempting as it is though to look ahead, the visitors must beat Rovers as they look to make up the two wins to catch the top five.
In a major boost, Collingwood VFL player Ryan Pendlebury has been selected.
Pendlebury has played a handful of games and, at times, has looked as good as any defender in the league.
Wodonga has a percentage of 116.33, nine behind fifth-placed Wodonga Raiders, which has already matched last year’s nine wins.
